With all the humidity we've had in the Piedmont Triad area, the mosquitoes have been relentless. So I tried it on myself. I washed the bite area, applied the balm, and it really did ease up some of the itch right away. Continued to use it for another day, and it did wonders. However, the real test is going to be when my granddaughter visits. She is highly allergic to mosquito and ant bites. I bought a second tube so if it works on her, she can take her tube home and I'll still have one here. It smells very good. I do apply a natural deterrent spritz on her when we're outside, but the mosquitoes must love her blood.
